Metal Prints Production & ShippingUpdated 2 years ago

As soon as your order for your Metal Print is submitted, the image is immediately transferred to our print server. The image is then entered into the print queue, nested and sent to print! Our Metal Prints are created in two different ways. The HD Metal Prints are created in a dye-sublimation process, and our White and Silver Metal Prints are created in a direct-print method.

With our HD Metal Prints, nested images are printed on specially engineered photo transfer stock on our Epson print system. Each image is then trimmed and matched with a panel blank in its corresponding size. Matched prints and blanks are placed in the dye-sublimation heat press, and the image is transferred to the premium Chromaluxe HD panel.

Images for White Metal Prints and Silver Metal Prints, once nested, are printed on large rigid sheets of white or brushed DiBond on our state-of-the-art SwissQ direct-print system. Printed sheets are sent to our cutting team, and the large sheet is cut down into individual prints.

Printed HD, White, and Silver Metals are then sent to our finishing team. At this stage, prints are cleaned and polished, then fitted with their chosen hanging or framing system.

Once complete, Metal Prints are then grouped by order, and carefully packaged for shipping, wrapped in bubble wrap, so they will not be scuffed or scratched. Packaged prints are then shipped, or safely stored if additional products in the order are still to be completed.

From start to finish, this process takes an average 3-5 business days to complete. Depending on where your image falls in the queue and the volume of orders in the system, the time frame can go up or down. All of our production times are averages. It is possible that production times will occasionally fall outside of the posted range.
