How do I choose the right size to print?Updated 2 years ago
Choosing a size for your print can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. There are a lot of options to choose from, and choosing a size that is not ideal can sometimes end up with your image being cropped, or not quite as clear as it could be.
The first thing you’ll want to think about is what you are looking for in a print. Are you interested in filling a particular space on your wall? Or, are you just wanting a print made of a particular image? If the space is the most important part, you'll want to look at where you will be hanging the print. Is it a big open wall, or a little nook? It can be a good idea to measure out the space you are looking to fill, that way you have an idea of the size range to look at for your print. If the particular picture is the reason you are wanting a print, then you will want to take a look at the aspect ratio and resolution of the image to determine the best size to print.
If you need help finding out the aspect ratio or resolution of your image, you can check out this article on Cropping & Aspect Ratio, and the article on DPI & Image Resolution.
